Establishing of Institutional Cooperation between UiT The Arctic University of Norway and University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague in education in the field of food quality and biotechnology


The project is focused on establishing on the institutional cooperation between the UCT Prague and UiT Tromso.

The main objective of the project is the strengthening and improvement of education level in the field of bioprospecting, biotechnologies, and food safety. Within the project, young scientists, as well as experienced academics and professors will travel to partner University for the purpose of taking part in the intensive educational courses, observation in classes and exchange of experience in education in the aforementioned fields.

The obtained knowledge and experience will be implemented into the subjects, teaching plans, and research activities. New educational tools and study materials will be prepared and implemented at both Universities.

Beside this, joint seminars and workshops will be organized, to support creation of new research groups ensuring the further research sustainability.
